Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of New CV Tool (the “Service”), operated by Feraz Zeid, trading as Swiss Digital. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

New CV Tool lets you build a career profile and generate CVs and cover letters tailored to specific job descriptions using AI. Features and limits may change as the Service evolves.

2. Your account

You must provide a valid email and keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity under your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscription, billing & cancellation

Core AI features (tailoring, the assistant, CV parsing) require a paid subscription. New accounts receive a small number of free starter credits to try the Service first.
The current price is shown in the app at the point of purchase and on the upgrade screen. Payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe).
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
You can cancel at any time from the in-app billing portal (Account → Subscription → Manage). On cancellation you keep access until the end of the paid period; we do not pro-rate partial periods.
A fair-use limit applies to AI usage within each period to prevent abuse; it is generous for normal use.

4. Right of withdrawal & refunds

Where consumer-protection law grants a right of withdrawal (for example, a 14-day period in the EU), it applies as required by the law applicable to you. Because the Service delivers digital content immediately, by starting to use paid AI features you acknowledge that provision begins at once. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable; you can always cancel to stop future charges.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes, or to misrepresent your qualifications.
Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service or its rate/fair-use limits.
Only submit content you are entitled to use.

6. Your content & intellectual property

You retain ownership of the data you enter and the CVs and cover letters you generate. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process your content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your career data or outputs. The Service itself, its software, and branding remain our property.

7. AI output disclaimer

AI-generated text can contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying every output before you use it. We make no guarantee about job interviews, offers, or any outcome from using the Service.

8. Availability & warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Where liability is permitted to be capped, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms or use the Service unlawfully.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service changes. Material changes take effect when posted here (see the “last updated” date); continued use after that means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the law of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
